MILITARY GPS Tablets Sought by U.S. Air Force

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 -- The U.S. Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation notice (FA8604-13-Q-7003) for Trimble Yuma tablet computers with Windows 7 and TerraSync Professional software; global positioning system Pathfinder software; and Geo Explorer 2005 series. It was posted on Jan. 2 with a response date of Jan. 15.
