IntercontinentalExchange Set to Possibly Pullback After Yesterday's Rally of 1.60%

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE:ICE) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $124.27 to a high of $126.95. Yesterday, the shares gained 1.6%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $126.42 on volume of 1.5 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.
SmarTrend recommended that its subscribers protect gains by selling shares of IntercontinentalExchange on October 2nd, 2012 by issuing a Downtrend alert when the shares were trading at $131.36.
