Burglar steals car after taking keys [Derby Evening Telegraph (England)]
(Derby Evening Telegraph (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A BURGLAR stole a car from outside a house after taking keys from the kitchen.
A mobile phone, two satnav systems and a digital camera were also stolen from the property, in Brook Street, Swadlincote. Police say the offender got into the house through an unlocked door between 3am and 5.30am on Tuesday.
The householder noticed the kitchen door was open and the items had been taken when he woke at 5.30am and went downstairs.
The car is a silver Volvo S40 which carries a 2002 registration plate. It has not yet been recovered.
