Goodwin Procter Expands Financial Institutions Group with Addition of Brynn Peltz in New York
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--
Goodwin
Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, announced today that Brynn
D. Peltz has joined the firm's Financial Institutions Group in New
York as a partner in its Transactions and Investment Management &
Regulation Practices, as well as the firm's Private Investment Funds
Practice. Peltz joins Goodwin from Latham & Watkins where she was a
partner in its financial regulatory and investment funds practices.
Previously, she was a partner at Clifford Chance.
Peltz has more than 20 years' experience advising financial
institutions, including private equity, real estate and hedge fund
sponsors; alternative asset managers; business development companies;
and registered investment companies on strategic matters. Her work
includes fund formation, registration and offerings, structuring of
financial products, investment adviser registration and compliance, as
well as mergers and acquisitions in the investment management sector.
She also has significant expertise in issues related to exchange-traded
funds and other structured wealth management products with fund
characteristics.

She received her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from Cornell
University and is admitted to practice in New York.
