Narconon Riverbend Launches Daily Drug Ed Feature
Denham Springs, LA, Jan 18, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
Narconon Riverbend has launched a daily feature of drug ed videos. These videos were developed and released by the Foundation for a Drug Free World to help people learn more about the dangers of drug abuse.
A few of Narconon Riverbend's graduates appear in these films and speak as voices of experience to dissuade youngsters from trying drugs. They tell their story of how they become introduced and addicted to drugs and the effect drugs had on them.
The films consist of testimonies of nearly one hundred ex-addicts, as well as dramatizations to bring the tragic consequences of drug abuse to life.
In the first film, ex-addicts talk about how they were introduced to drugs. They talk about how drugs began to affect them, and the horrifying consequences that quickly befell them.
Some of the lines from the testimonials might have an impact with youth who are considering trying drugs for the first time, and keep them out of a drug rehab:
"It was unbearable. I couldn't get a job because I was out of it completely."
"My decisions were based on what this drug wanted me to do rather than what I wanted to do."
"My buddy told me I can just do it once in a while and it won't be a problem."
The film can be viewed on demand on the Narconon Riverbend drug rehab website.
