BRIEF: Former 38 Studios CEO hired by Ovuline [Boston Herald]
(Boston Herald (MA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jan. 25--Ovuline, a Cambridge company that aims to help women become pregnant, has hired the former CEO of ex-Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling's now-defunct video game company 38 Studios.
Jen MacLean was out on maternity leave when 38 Studios closed last year after defaulting on a payment as part of its $75 million loan guarantee from the state of Rhode Island.
MacLean will head up business development for Ovuline, which announced earlier this month that it had raised $1.4 million.
