BRIEF: El Dorado to be closed for roadwork today
STOCKTON, Feb 15, 2013 (The Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Ongoing road work will close a section of a well-used south Stockton street all day and into the evening on Friday.
Work crews plan to close South El Dorado Street between French Camp Road and McKinley Avenue from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, according to a statement from Buethe Communications.
It's part of a long-planned Sperry Road extension project to create an east-west connector through south Stockton.
Friday's closure is to allow crews to pour concrete for the bridge that will carry Sperry Road over El Dorado.
