Amazon staff accused of intimidation [Evening Times (Glasgow, Scotland)]
(Evening Times (Glasgow, Scotland) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) GERMANY: Online retailer Amazon is to investigate reports temporary staff at its logistics centres in Germany were subjected to a climate of intimidation.
A TV documentary showed dozens of staff hired by temp agencies on Amazon's behalf complaining of grim conditions. Some said they were paid less than promised and intimidated by security staff wearing clothes linked to the neo-Nazi scene.
An Amazon spokeswoman said it "tolerates no discrimination or intimidation".
