Nadra's Fast Track Service starts in Sheikhupura
(Nation (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The National Database Regulatory Authority has prepared and issued 92.8 million computerised national identity cards with 457 Fast Track Service centres, 252 mobile teams and 270 semi mobile teams functional in the country, claimed the Nadra chairman.
Inaugurating a Nadra Fast Track Service centre in Sheikhupura, Muhammad Tariq Malik, the chairman, also disclosed that Nadra was issuing Smart Card which is beneficial for people and is issued at Rs1,500. He said Nadra pays Rs100,000 to the cardholders in case of accidental death.
On the other hand, scores of citizens with grievances about the local Nadra staffers regarding their insulting behaviour, reached the office on the arrival of the chairman but they were pushed away by the local management and they were not allowed to meet with the higher authorities.
The victims told TheNation that no proper information was provided by the staffers on the window. They said some time the B Form is not provided in readable condition. They demanded that the Nadra high-ups should resolve these problems immediately.
