Claro Brazil and Jasper Wireless Partner to Power M2M in Brazil
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Jasper Wireless, the leading connected devices platform for
machine-to-machine (M2M) and consumer electronics, today announced an
agreement with Claro (News - Alert) Brazil to wirelessly connect machine-to-machine
(M2M) and consumer electronics devices in Brazil.
Claro Brazil is deploying the Jasper Wireless platform in order to
quickly and efficiently serve M2M customers across its network that runs
in over 2,000 cities across the country. Jasper Wireless will provide
Claro Brazil with global visibility of all SIMs connected to the mobile
network and robust self-service tools for provisioning, real-time
diagnostics and usage controls, providing Claro Brazil and its customers
with a fast time-to-market for new connected devices and applications
and excellent customer support.
The agreement with Claro, owned by América Móvil (News - Alert), is an extension of
Jasper's service in the South American market and of Jasper's
relationship with Claro. The agreement will lead the way for innovative
M2M applications and services in such verticals as remote monitoring,
digital signage, fleet tracking, tele-health, telematics and mobile
payments.
