Feb 27, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Books-A-Million, Inc. announced that all stores will feature a selection of Duck Commander items featured on a camo-themed display.
Duck Commander is a multi-million dollar family-operated business that creates products for duck hunters. The Robertson clan recently became the subject of an A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty," which is now A&E's most watched series.
According to a release, BAM! stores across the country will be selling more than 40 items related to Duck Commander, including duck calls, DVDs, books, t-shirts, hats, and novelties, such as key chains, stickers, and more.
Mary Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Merchandising, said, "We want to catch shoppers' attention from the second they walk in our stores with anticipated merchandise they have requested," said Gallagher. "We believe our customers will enjoy the wide variety of items featured in the Duck Commander customized destination."
BAM! developed the plan for the in-store shop after it noticed an increased popularity in Duck Commander books, t-shirts, and other merchandise.
"We saw a tremendous amount of interest in all things "Duck" during the holiday selling season," said Jeff Skipper, Vice President of Marketing. "Our team made the decision to create a custom, in-store display so that we could give our customers a one-stop-shop for all their favorite Duck Commander gear."
Fans can anticipate that all BAM! locations will have the camo-themed display in their local stores before "Duck Dynasty" returns for a third season on February 27th at 10/9c on A&E.
Books-A-Million is a book retailer in the U.S.
