StorSimple's Easy, Fast Cloud Storage Explained Quickly, Easily

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

If you want to go from zero to cloud storage in 10 minutes or less, then this is your lucky day: Have I got a video for you.

StorSimple, a leading provider in hybrid cloud storage solutions, offers you a way to get precisely that, and it’s all on a video they’ve recently produced. The StorSimple offering includes all the state of the art features you’d expect for top-shelf storage, and reduces complexity. We can all live with a little less complexity in our lives.

As TMCnet recently reported, StorSimple knows its way around the market. StorSimple has been in the Enterprise Cloud Storage for Windows and VMware infrastructures market a long time, bringing cloud to on-premises applications for years – “without forcing the migration of applications into the cloud.”

As we said, less complexity. And while companies spend billions building massive cloud datacenters, StorSimple concentrates on hybrid cloud storage, linking on-premises applications to the cloud storage in these data centers.

The video walks the viewer through the steps, all done in real-time screen shots – “Now let’s go create a volume,” the StorSimple official explains. Viewers watch continuous streaming of the operation performed exactly as it should be done, step by step, keystroke by keystroke. Roll your eyes if you will, IT whizzes, but such careful, patient tutoring avoids just the sort of mistakes that keep IT departments prematurely bald.

It would be hard to watch this video even in a somewhat distracted state and not get it all right the first time. Certainly anybody genuinely interested in accessing StorSimple’s services will have no trouble with it.

And we must say, after watching any number of such videos, it’s nice have a smooth, clear voice doing the explaining along the way.
