Business phone services provider FeatureTel announced the expansion of its private, cloud-based telecom services to the Atlanta market.
Since 2003, hosted VoIP business phone services have been provided by Triangle-based FeatureTel (News - Alert) to customers across North Carolina. FeatureTel, providing phone systems as a service over a private voice network, eliminates the need for clients to purchase a premise-based phone system while clients also benefit from the cloud technology.
“We are extremely proud of our solid, consistent organic growth over the past eight years,” said Founder and CEO Paul Levering (News - Alert), in a press release. “With our recent expansion, we can now serve existing clients with offices in Atlanta over a private voice network, as well as branch out to reach new clients in that region to meet their business phone service needs.”
In 2010, Cloud-based telephone service took off with many businesses realizing the savings from not having to invest in telephone system hardware. The cloud-based telephony, with the help of FeatureTel s unique, local service is taken a step further than most national Internet phone service providers with the guarantee of call quality, delivered over a private voice network.
Levering is excited about FeatureTel’s future in its current and expanding markets: “We’ve grown every year we’ve been in operation, and our ninth year is starting off strong. We are now positioned to connect companies who have offices in Atlanta and the Triangle area with unified hosted voice services.”
FetaureTel, since its founding, has been serving and continues to serve Triangle-based clients with offices around the country, with clients’ satellite offices networked via voice over the public Internet.
In related news, FeatureTel has signed a three year contract with Aurora Funds. Hosted VoIP services will be provided by FeatureTel in two Triangle locations and one in Maryland for Aurora Funds.
