MindTree and KPN (News - Alert) have teamed on investing in a flexible cloud services aggregator platform for enterprise customers.
This platform will allow KPN and MindTree to bundle top of the bill and third party services, tapping into the main business drivers that CIOs, business managers and end users focus on.
"Our cloud strategy is aligned with the business objectives of our customers and through this joint innovation program, we aim to deliver business enabling applications and services to our customers along with unique benefits such as unified contract, single sign-on and centralized governance," said Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO and managing director, MindTree Limited.
MindTree, a global IT and Product Engineering Services Company and KPN, the Dutch market leader in ICT services joined hands in 2010 to deliver complementary best-of-breed services and solutions, state-of-the-art infrastructure and new technology solutions.
Both partners have complementary core competencies and are now extending their strategic partnership for this platform that brings specific catalogue products, KPN and third party product and customer legacy applications on a single platform and delivers them 'as a service' to enterprises globally.
"The KPN cloud aggregation and delivery platform leverages our telecommunications and IT expertise to help us deliver on our strategy to converging information technology and telecommunications and to optimise opportunities for our customers," said Steven van Schilfgaarde, CEO KPN Corporate Market.
KPN was in news earlier this month when it appointed Pieter Swarts as chief procurement officer for the KPN Group. Swarts is responsible for establishing a new procurement organization within KPN and will help the company to strengthen its cost leadership position.
