APEX Voice Communications (News - Alert) is now delivering time sensitive messages in real-time with the release of its APEX Call Interceptor.
The new release is ideal for Telecom Network Operators and triple play Multi-System Operators (MSO), as it intercepts subscribers’ outgoing calls and plays a personalized message before completing the call.
APEX Call Interceptor can be used for a range of applications such as promotions, collections and SIP voice mail notifications. The call is routed to the Interceptor when the subscriber makes an outbound call and this intelligent network-based solution plays a message for the type of subscriber selected based on business rules.
The company claims this solution enables the operators to reach all of their intended subscribers with time-sensitive messages in real-time.
“By ensuring time-sensitive messages are heard when they need to be heard, and if desired or necessary, forcing some type of action to be taken, the breadth of scope that the APEX Call Interceptor can have on an Operator’s business is almost unlimited,” said Elhum Vahdat (News - Alert), executive vice president at APEX Voice Communications.
The newly released Interceptor is based on the APEX Service Delivery Platform (APEX SDP) and gives multiple options on how to proceed with the call.
“While this product was originally developed at the request of a customer asking to utilize their IMS network to improve collections efforts and eventually replace their expensive outbound calling collections campaigns, everything from increasing revenue and subscribers, to decreasing uncollectables and late payments can be impacted with the APEX Call Interceptor,” added Vahdat.
APEX Voice Communications provides Service Delivery Platforms (SDP) and Application Servers for network, customer care, and value-added services (voice, video, SMS/text, USSD).
Last year, the company picked Bell and Howell as its business partner to provide secure document delivery via mobile applications.
