Altogether the event will bring together more than 35 'Cloud Leaders' including 7 Degrees, Accenture, AppExtremes, Appirio, AvePoint, Big Machines, Birst, Bluewolf, BMC, CA, Cast Iron, Cloud 9, Comity Designs, Deloitte (News - Alert), DocuSign, EchoSign, EDL Consulting, Eloqua, FinancialForce, inContact, Informatica, InsideView, JPW Consulting, Marketo, Mindjet, Model Metrics, Ping Identity, Ribbit, Sertifi, ServiceMax, Silverpop (News - Alert), Steel Brick, Symplified, Xactly and more.
It will also feature more than 18 break-out sessions to educate attendees about how cloud computing is shaping the economy, as well as a tradeshow floor.
Salesforce.com has been a Contactual (News - Alert)
technology partner for a
number of years. Back in November Contactual
announced that its OnDemand Contact Center is available on the Salesforce.com
AppExchange. The
integrated solution combines one of the leading cloud-based CRM software platforms with one of the leading software-as-a-service-based contact center software platforms.
Through this integration, contact center agents can have detailed customer information, such as customer contact history and past purchases, screen-popped onto their desktops, thus enabling them to improve customer service, as well as to capitalize on up-sell and cross sell opportunities.
Key capabilities delivered via this integration include single user console; the ability to store and retrieve call recordings, email interactions and chat transcripts directly from Salesforce CRM cases; as well as integrated reporting and dashboards.
During the event, Salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff (News - Alert) is expected to announce general availability of
Salesforce Chatter, the company's real-time enterprise social collaboration application and platform. The application, which was announced in November last year, and which has been in beta with about 5,000 customers since, will go live for all salesforce.com customers on June 22. It is already included in Salesforce's Sales Cloud 2, Service Cloud 2 and Force.com platform.
Developers will learn how to leverage Chatter to make the Force.com platform even better. They will also be able to make use of the 'Chatter DevZone,' where they can build Cloud 2 apps leveraging Chatter on Force.com. Developers will also be able to get a copy of the new Chatter workbook and cheat sheet. In addition, Salesforce.com will be hosting a 'Chatter Hackathon' to give developers further opportunities to innovate.
