BBH Solutions, a New York City-based provider of converged network solutions and IT managed services, has completed cut-over of a national call center's voice and data applications into its cloud environment.
The company said that with this integration, it continues to advance as a premier provider of cloud hosted voice, data, and video applications in the NYC region.
“We are excited to host this call center in our cloud,” said Bruce Hoernecke, president and CEO at BBH Solutions, adding that each cloud migration has its own nuances.
Hoernecke said that the company’s client, for this project, recognized that they needed a partner with an extensive skill set in all of the technologies involved in their solution. Also, the burden of redundant power requirements, backup power, cooling, and multi-carrier redundancy all factored into their decision to rely on BBH to design and engineer this system in its facility.
The technology infrastructure of the call center operation accommodates several hundred call agents simultaneously. The system, which features predictive dialing, call routing, and a number of advanced data services, supports centers located throughout the United States.
Using cloud computing, businesses can use the secure resources of a service provider to host their technology applications and data storage. To end users on demand, or “as-a-service,” applications such as Voice-over-Internet Phone (News - Alert) (VoIP) telephony, video conferencing, email, and office productivity programs are delivered.
Through a number of secure connection types, users can again access to these applications from virtually anywhere, according to company officials.
BBH, certified by Microsoft (News
