Delivering on its $1 billion solutions investments commitment in early 2011, Dell (News - Alert) has revealed that it’s more than ready to address business’ IT requirements for the desktop, the data center and the cloud. But its recent merge with Force10 Networks (News - Alert) – to spawn what is now data center networks leader Dell Force10 – has Dell more than ready to help customers unlock innovation for the virtual era.

In addition to an expansion of its Virtual Integrated Systems Architecture and the opening of new data centers to accommodate booming cloud computing infrastructure and services, Dell has extended its commitment to end-user computing, especially due to the newly acquired line of KACE Systems Management (News - Alert) Appliances from Force10 networks.

Because these easy-to-use appliances have experienced large-scale demand as well as increased market share in North America and English-speaking countries across the globe, Dell has expanded its availability in select countries in languages including German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian and Portuguese. These systems management solutions are designed to help IT administrators save both time and money, and guarantee easy deployment and management of remote client systems around the world for organizations.

On top of that, in order to bring customers closer to the benefits of deploying private, public and cloud environments, Dell has opened two new data centers – one in London for Unified Clinical Archiving and one in Quincy, Wash., which is anticipated to be one of the world’s most environmentally efficient data centers by using the company’s large-scale data center build-outs.

These new data centers are in addition to the nine Solution Centers already introduced since April 2011.

In a move to drive enterprise efficiency, Dell has also unveiled new product improvements to its Virtual Integrated System Architecture, which is designed to limit the tools, duties and time required for everyday data center activities, and automate and boost the efficiency of an organization’s IT infrastructure.
