Connectria's Data Center Networks Support ComSci Cloud Apps

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Connectria (News - Alert) Hosting, a global managed data infrastructure hosting company, has joined with ComSci to provide customers with award-winning IT financial and business management applications through the cloud.

Through Connectria's cloud-based data hosting capabilities, the two companies will provide ComSci's SaaS (News - Alert)-based IT financial and business management applications to more than 57,000 users. ComSci is able to provide its clients with highly secure cloud-based SaaS solutions for automating complex IT financial cost modeling, budget and forecasting, and demand management processes by partnering with Connectria, the company stated in a press release.

“Connectria's customer focus resonated with us because it matched the way we do business with our customers, and it made us feel confident in choosing a cloud provider with these same values," said Lou Takacs, chief information officer for ComSci. "Our priority is providing comprehensive IT financial management and business management solutions -- not building and hosting data centers. Connectria enables us to focus on our core business and is flexible in allowing us to configure our systems and infrastructure.”

All of ComSci's client-facing SaaS-based applications are hosted on multiple Connectria data center networks. It will continue to rely on Connectria to provide its customers with award-winning IT finance applications and state-of-the-art infrastructure as ComSci anticipates further growth. Connectria's hosting expertise represents one of the industry's widest range of supported platforms from a variety of vendors, including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle (News - Alert), HP, Dell, SUN, Citrix, VMware and Open Source (e.g. Linux/LAMP, MySQL).
