ScanSource Security, a distributor of physical security solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with LifeSafety Power, a company specializing in power management systems.
“Having reliable power systems in place is critical for security solutions that can’t afford downtime. And as LifeSafety Power’s only national value-added distributor, we are pleased to provide their FlexPower products to our dealers so that they can ensure their end-user customers’ security solutions remain up and running,” Paul Constantine, vice president of merchandising at ScanSource (News - Alert) Security said in a press release.
As per the terms of this agreement, ScanSource Security dealers can now have access to LifeSafety Power’s power supply Systems created specifically for the security industry and featuring a unique modular design. LifeSafety Power’s FlexPower is a fully modular power management system that allows for a number of system configurations, including single, dual or multi voltage outputs.
John Olliver, president of sales at LifeSafety Power, said, “ScanSource Security’s focus on leading access control and security products combined with their experienced sales team is a great match for our product line.”
“We expect the partnership with ScanSource to rapidly expand our market share in AC, DC, and POE power applications due to ScanSource Security’s broad US customer base and presence across the access, security, CCTV, and mass notification industries,” Olliver added.
A unit of international specialty technology distributor ScanSource, Inc., ScanSource Security is an independent, value-added wholesale distributor of identification, physical security and wireless infrastructure products.
