Server Technology is continuing with a decade-long tradition and is gearing up to attend Data Center World from March 27-31, a global event that has been dubbed one of the 50 fastest growing tradeshows in the United States.
“AFCOM’s Data Center World is an excellent event for anyone involved in the data center industry to attend,” Brandon Siri, senior marketing representative for Server Technology (News - Alert), told TMCnet in a recent interview. “The show is primarily attended by relevant data center experts. We meet a lot of data center managers, CIOs, network engineers and other IT folks.”
For the past 25 years, Server Technology, a global leader in power distribution products and power monitoring software, creates solutions related to data center power and telecommunications.
The data center power monitoring company has attended more than 10 AFCOM Data Center World events over the years. Data Center World, presented by AFCOM, the premier data center association representing 4,500 of the largest data centers around the world, is the leading educational conference for data center professionals.
Server Technology will join hundreds of other companies at the five-day event which will offer lectures, speakers and special presentations.
“Server Technology brings power distribution expertise to the table,” Siri told TMCnet when asked why Server Technology is attending the event. “We’re showcasing a full line of intelligent cabinet power distribution units (CDUs) and our Sentry Power Manager (SPM). We’re looking forward to networking with our current and future customers. “
“We continue to participate because we find great value in the people we meet there,” he added. “ It’s one of the best educational conferences for data center professionals and we’re there to educate and to learn.”
When asked what Server Technology hopes to get out of the event, Siri explained that the data center power monitoring company is looking forward to spreading the word about its new product feature called Per Inlet Power Sensing (PIPS).
PIPS technology replaces power monitoring at the remote power panel in data centers with higher accuracy and lower cost monitoring of each power circuit attached to a cabinet power distribution unit, according to Server Technology officials.
“When it comes to shopping data center power, we want our customers to be aware of what’s out there so that they can choose the right solution for their facility,” Siri said.
Those that visit the Server Technology booth at Data Center World will enjoy a full range of cabinet power distribution unit demonstrations. Participants can also view Server Technology’s new Wire-Free Solution that it jointly developed with RF Code. We’ll answer any questions that attendees may have regarding this new solution.
“We invite attendees to stop by booth 611 and meet with one of our power experts,” Siri said.
