Interop Las Vegas 2011, the leading business technology event, is certainly the place to be for leading technology companies and Server Technology (News - Alert) is eager to attend the event which starts today and runs until May 12.
For over eight years, Server Technology – a pioneer in data center power monitoring products –has attended both the Las Vegas and New York events and this year is no exception. This week’s event will bring together more than 350 of the top industry leaders to discuss and learn about cloud computing, data centers, virtualization and mobility, among other things.
“Interop (News - Alert) is a huge business technology event and a perfect opportunity for data center managers to learn about the best solutions available for their operations,” Brandon Siri, senior marketing representative for Server Technology, told TMCnet in a recent interview.
“We’re excited to get in front of current and potential customers and expose them to the latest in Cabinet Power Distribution Unit (CDU) technology,” he added. “Some of our latest high-end CDUs will be in our booth, including the CS-6HD which is a Smart CDU specifically designed to power and monitor the new Cisco (News - Alert) Nexus 7000 series switches. “
This year, Server Technology will once again power the InteropNet network, Interop's specialized cutting edge temporary network, with its intelligent cabinet CDUs. The InteropNet supplies the most reliable, high-speed network for thousands of attendees, hundreds of exhibitors, and throughout the entire conference center. Server Technology has installed and custom configured its CDUs to the InteropNet which will be used at both Las Vegas and New York Interops.
As the select provider of CDUs, Server Technology has also installed Sentry Power Manager (SPM) in the InteropNet, according to Server Technology officials.
“Using SPM, all the Switched CDUs we deployed on the InteropNet can be accessed globally via a single pane of glass interface, giving the InteropNet engineers access to power monitoring, management, power trends, and alarms without having to login to the firmware of individual CDUs,” Siri said.
“The NOC (News - Alert) (Network Operations Center) at Interop really is a best of breed solutions showcase,” he added. “To be chosen again this year to be the exclusive CDU provider is an honor and goes to show that with our CDU engineering expertise we are producing a world-class product. With a patent library to back our technology, engineering at our core, and a solution for just about any data center power need, being in the Interop NOC has allowed us to demonstrate first-hand to everyone what sets Server Tech CDUs apart from the rest.”
This year at Interop, those that visit the data center power company’s booth can find power experts on hand who will answer questions relating to rack level power monitoring and management. Visitors can also learn about Server Technology’s new products.
“We’re excited to tell people about our new PIPS (Per Inlet Power Sensing) product technology, our wire-free power monitoring solutions, and our recently revamped -48VDC CDUs for telecom companies,” Siri said. “We invite all attendees to stop by booth 2242 for a personal consultation with a Server Tech Power Expert.”
