Server Technology (News - Alert) has had a lot to be grateful for in 2011 – from releasing 289 data center power distribution products this year to perfecting the latest version of its flagship offering Sentry Power Manager. This week, however, the company is also thankful that it’s been able to get its face out all over the globe through the many trade shows it has attended, and that trend is by no means slowing down.
Next week, Server Technology – a leading provider of data center power distribution units — will head to the rainy city that is London for DatacenterDynamics London, the world’s “largest peer-led data center conference.”
“DCD London is the largest DCD show of the year bringing in more attendees and more companies than any of their other events,” Brandon Siri, senior marketing representative for Server Technology, told TMCnet. “Server Technology has been heavily involved with DCD London for several years and this year we are continuing the tradition by exhibiting at the 2011 event as well.”
“It’s been very exciting to see the event grow each year,” he added. “Data center managers from all around Europe, and even beyond that, attend the show. Many of them come specifically seeking Server Tech’s cabinet power experts to hear what’s new in the world of quality rack power solutions. With the largest cabinet PDU product catalog filled with over 2000 products, we want DCD London attendees to know where to turn for their data center power projects.”
This year’s event – taking place Nov. 30 to Dec. 1 – will cover five halls over two days allowing for more than 70 technical presentations, case studies and panel discussion. Server Technology will join more than 80 exhibiting company and 2,000 delegates for an event that will boast dedicated halls for Design Build Operate, Outsourcing Decisions, and IT Optimization tracks.
For the 2011 show, Server Technology is eager to send several of its experts to DCD London to educate data center professionals on what the data center power distribution company is doing in the market as well as to hear about what’s new in the industry from other professionals.
“We’re most looking forward to seeing where the market is going, what customers are wanting, and sharing what we’ve been up to with the data center community,” Siri said. “Server Tech has had a huge year in 2011 as we launched over 280 products including a new version of SPM, a game changing new firmware version, and a new rich product feature called PIPS (Per Inlet Power Sensing). We’re excited to share all this news with DCD London attendees and bring them up to speed on our global power monitoring solutions.”
“This show is a big deal and we plan to have a big presence,” he added. “DCD London is the flagship DCD trade show. As the global cabinet power monitoring experts, this simply is an event we can’t miss.”
So what is Server Technology looking to take away from this event?
“We hope to come back from the event having met with people who care and want to know more about data center power monitoring management,” Siri said. “Server Tech will booth at booth 70 throughout the event and we want to invite anyone interested in data center power to stop by and visit with our power experts to learn more about the total solution package.”
