The Server Technology (News - Alert) family just got a little bit bigger and it’s not because the company just expanded its data center power distribution units.
Today, Server Technology welcomed to the company John Fauteux, who will serve as vice president of worldwide sales. Having formerly reigned as vice president of global sales for Avocent-Emerson Network Power (News - Alert), Fauteux brings over 15 years of data center infrastructure sales and management experience to his new role at Server Technology, overseeing all US, EMEA, APAC and channel sales.

His proven track record in building successful sales organizations as well as his ability to apply highly-leveraged sales approaches consistently enables his teams to performance at levels which outpace the industry,” said Brandon Ewing, president of Server Technology. “John's ability to think strategically yet act tactically for the day to day matters at hand, mimics the culture found in all aspects of Server Technology itself. His vast customer and channel experience will fuel the rapid growth of Server Technology already underway.”

Fauteux will now join the team and be responsible for helping Server Technology continue to grow its data center power distribution units. Prior to his most recent role as vice president of global sales, Fauteux held several other senior roles while at Avocent (News - Alert) including vice president branded sales, area sales director/east, regional sales manager and strategic account manager, and was previously with Sprint and Tech Data (News - Alert).
He holds a master’s of science in management of technology and a bachelor of science in business administration, majoring in marketing from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
In other company news, Mark Harris, vice president of marketing at Server Technology, recently sat down with TMCnet to discuss Server Technology’s Quality Power Architecture – the foundation that enables Server Technology’s Sentry CDU solutions to support the quality, breadth and flexibility of its rackmount PDUs.
