DatacenterDynamics Converged Conference and Expo Series pulls together the people, processes and technology necessary to execute a world class data center strategy under one roof. Server Technology (News - Alert), a provider of quality rack mount power distribution and monitoring solutions that help manage power capacity, reduce downtime and improve energy efficiency, will be attending DCD in San Francisco next week.
“DCD SF is one of the best events that DCD puts on. There is so much going on with technology companies, data centers and data center power, simply because of Silicon Valley and the number of tech companies located there,” said Julie Brown, marketing manager, Server Technology. “It’s a great event for us to interface with the top data center people in those industries and listen to what’s important to them today and their ideas on where data centers are going in the future.”
Server Technology will be exhibiting its power monitoring and management solution and Sentry Power Manager (SPM), as well as the latest in rack-level power distribution units and new products designed for high density and blade server environments. The SPM is the most affordable and accurate system available to measure, monitor and trend data center power and is available for a special promotion for over 50 percent off.
The data center power solutions provider will also be showcasing its new per outlet power sensing products; its Per Outlet Power Sensing (POPS) and Per Infeed Power Sensing (PIPS) units. Server Technology offers switched and smart POPs, which features per outlet power monitoring, branch circuit protection, input current monitoring, environmental monitoring, access, security & communications and an expansion module.
Server Technology anticipates lots of talk about the cloud next week, particularly a lot of debate between outsourcing all or part of your data center versus having your own data center. Outsourcing often saves money and allows companies to focus on other business issues while having the details taken care of by outside experts, but often eliminates direct communication between a company and its clients.
To attendees and participants, Server Technology hopes to deliver the message and appearance as a data center power expert.
“Our company truly knows power and we specialize in it with our people and our products,” said Brown. “From our engineers, to our sales team to our sales engineers, we are the trusted leaders in data center power and it shows in our 100 percent product performance-tested products, known to be the world’s most reliable PDUs.”
