Mike Johnston (News - Alert) has joined the company, effective immediately, as the director of Global Channel Sales and Marketing. Johnston brings more than 18 years of technology sales and channel sales and marketing experience to his new role at Server Technology.

Johnston was formerly the director of Americas Field Marketing for Avocent-Emerson (News - Alert) Network Power, a provider of power, precision cooling, connectivity and embedded solutions. Before Emerson, he was the director of Channel Marketing at ADTRAN (News - Alert) and manager of Channel Sales at Avocent. Johnston holds a Master’s of Science in Management of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
Server Technology also recently promoted its own Jack Vonich to director of Western U.S. Sales. As a regional sales manager for Server Tech for the past nine years, his beliefs fall right in step with Server Technology’s philosophy. Not only does it offer the expertise and experience for data center power solutions, but it prides itself on maintaining positive customer relationships and placing the customer experience as a priority.
