Server Technology (News - Alert) today introduced the Server Technology Power Rewards Program, designed particularly for the company's channel partners that target data center customers. This program, according to the company's director of Global Channel Sales, Mike Johnston (News - Alert), is part of an effort by Server Technology to makes it channel partner program more channel focused.
“We’re investing in the current and future success of our channel partners to expand our global footprint — to provide data centers around the world with the highest quality power distribution units (PDUs) and power management solutions,” added Johnston.
Server Technology decided to commit to this undertaking after asking its channel partners what they would like to see as part of enhancements to the partner program. As such, the new Server Technology Power Rewards Program features a slew of benefits to partners, including a new partner portal, a one-stop resource center and personalized dashboards for opportunity registrations.
"In addition, we now offer dedicated channel managers, expanded marketing development funds, discounted demonstration product kits, and expanded training opportunities,” said Johnston.
Server Technology is a company that prides itself in its expertise in producing the highest quality rack mount power distribution units and power monitoring solutions that help manage power capacity, reduce downtime and improve energy efficiency.
Earlier in November, the company began licensing a number of its patents related to intelligent power distribution units to Leviton Manufacturing, a provider of connectivity and power infrastructure solutions for advanced data centers and applications. A power distribution unit is a multiple-outlet power strip which delivers conditioned power to essential networking, server or telecom equipment.
Also this month, Server Technology attended the 11th Annual Datacenter Dynamics Converged London Conference. This global, peer-led data center conference and expo took place on November 14-15, bringing together over 2,000 delegates, 100 speakers, 70 technical presentations and 90 exhibitors.
