Zones, Inc. has achieved the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco (News
- Alert).
Officials with Zones said that this specialization recognizes the company as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support comprehensive Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions.
“Business networks are no longer confined to the tangible office—they are spread out across mobile networks and global value chains. To adapt to these complex business networks, Zones sees a greater need to integrate collaboration and communications into applications,” said Asif Hudani, senior vice president, IT services at Zones, in a statement.
Hudani said that Cisco’s Advanced Unified Communications Specialization enables Zones to create the best solutions offerings for each unique customer.
“As a Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialized Partner, Zones’ investment in the training required to provide integrated, collaborative and adaptive unified communications solutions rank them among the industry’s most qualified,” said Richard McLeod, director of unified communications for worldwide channels at Cisco.
Company officials said that the Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization is designed to help Cisco resale channel partners—whether small to medium-sized businesses or enterprise-scale organizations—meet a wide range of customer needs.
It allows partners to focus on unified communications market opportunities that require advanced product knowledge and the ability to deploy solutions over multiple sites and geographies.
According to company officials, Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialized Partners are specialists in building solutions based on the industry-leading Cisco Unified Communications portfolio.
Earlier in June, Zones had announced that it has achieved TelePresence Video Advanced Authorized Technology Provider (ATP (News - Alert)) status from Cisco.
This designation recognizes Zones as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco TelePresence Video products and solutions at the Advanced level.
The Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced ATP Program is focused on providing a new way of working in which everyone, everywhere can be more productive through face-to-face collaboration with TelePresence Video solutions.
