Code Blue Corporation, specializing in emergency communication solutions, has released its Blue Alert First Responder emergency solution, suitable for use in colleges, hospitals, corporations and municipalities.
The Blue Alert First Responder includes incident response solutions that help security personnel detect and respond to emergency situations.
Chief operating officer David Cook said, “Code Blue’s Blue Alert First Responder fills a need in the marketplace for an incident response solution that is both comprehensive and cost-effective. When combined with our industry-leading Help Points and Emergency Signaling devices, First Responder becomes the ideal solution for mass notification and event management.”
According to officials, the Blue Alert First Responder encompasses three software applications that enable user-friendly solutions for security personnel, the Blue Alert MNS, Blue Alert Mobile powered by Guardly and Blue Alert EMS.
Blue Alert MNS delivers CAP-compliant mass notifications with a single touch to different types of devices and systems such as blue light phones, public address speakers, digital signs, e-mail, SMS and social media.
With custom integration capabilities, the software allows connections with third-party security devices and platforms as well.
Powered by Guardly, a provider of mobile infrastructure, Blue Alert Mobile is a cross-platform app and dashboard that transforms smartphones into “mobile Help Points” that send instant notifications to emergency contacts and security personnel.
It also delivers real-time communication and location tracking while safeguarding individuals.
Blue Alert EMS acts as Code Blue’s Event Management System (EMS), caring for all incoming events with an easy-to-use interface, allowing responders to act promptly when untoward incidents occur. It remotely controls emergency communication devices while archiving incident data that can be used for future reference, said officials.
Code Blue strives to enhance security by offering help point, emergency signaling, incident response and systems management solutions with full diagnostic capabilities.
In September 2012, Code Blue Corporation partnered with Canada-based Guardly Corp., a company with an established mobile safety and security platform and set of mobile applications for commercial public safety uses.
Guardly provides mobile infrastructure for public safety and a real-time platform for emergency communication, management and response.
