Conveyant Systems, a supplier of PC-based Attendant Console and E911 solutions, announced its portfolio of Sentry E911 solutions is rated “Avaya (News
- Alert) Compliant.”
The Sentry E911 Emergency Location Management Solutions (ELM) is now compliant with key Emergency Service solutions from Avaya, which includes Communication Server 1000 Emergency Service Release 7.5.
Conveyant Systems, a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program, provides VoIP location discovery and on-site notification when a 911 call is made. Avaya DevConnect program is an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.“We are pleased to have successfully completed compliance testing with Avaya on the Communications Server 1000 (CS 1000) for our Sentry E911 Solutions,” said Tim Kenyon, president of Conveyant (News - Alert) Systems, in a statement.
“Sentry enhances the Emergency Services Access (ESA) features in the CS 1000 by providing enterprise location management solutions and on-site notification when a 9-1-1 call is placed.”Conveyant Systems is also named as one of the initial members of Avaya’s DevConnect Select Product Program which offers customers a streamlined way to order Avaya-compatible, third party applications.
According to Kenyon, the successful compliance test provides their mutual customers with an added level of security on the functionality and interoperability of Sentry on the CS 1000.
They also get access to solutions that help them incorporate new technology easily and cost-effectively into their communications infrastructure.Avaya’s DevConnect Program enables their Technology Partners to test solutions’ interoperability with Avaya products.
