Recently, Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics AX 2012 made its debut, a single, powerful enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that was launched specifically to assist engineer to order manufacturers in reducing complexity within multiple processes.
The robust solution can be utilized within five key industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, public sector and various service verticals.

In related news, earlier this week IFS North America, a large engineer to order provider, revealed that in the New Year it will be focusing much more heavily upon mobility as this trend is now demanded amongst workforces all over the world.
IFS continues to remain at the forefront of all next generation innovations and just this year unveiled its smartphone apps that according to company officials, “offer intuitive mobile functionality in areas such as human resources, customer relationship management, ad-hoc reporting, enterprise application search, vehicle management, and IFS support services” as well as a mobile solution for service and maintenance.
