An enterprise mobility solution provider, Good Technology (News - Alert) announced that seven new applications have joined its highly popular Good Dynamics ecosystem.
The developers’ favorite Good Dynamics platform supports the development of secure, third-party business productivity applications. The new apps facilitating multiple advanced capabilities – such as document editing and management, time and e-mail management and more – are expected to take employee-collaboration to a whole new level.
The all-encompassing presence of tablets and smartphones has resulted in what can be labeled as app-development hysteria. In view of this, the enterprise mobility solution provider Good Technology developed a security platform called Good Dynamics for the developers of both enterprise and consumer applications.
The platform was intended to enable app developers to give direct development access to the Good Dynamics SDK and NOC (News - Alert) infrastructure, resources and customer support they need to build and manage secure mobile applications.
Since its release in 2011, Good Dynamics ecosystem has been thriving with the introduction of new secure, third-party, enterprise apps. They include some of the most popular apps in the app stores today. These programs have become particularly popular among IT specialists, for whom the Good Dynamics apps have made easier to allow their employees to bring their own devices without compromising on the security of enterprise data.
As said earlier, the newly introduced apps are designed to improve employee-collaboration and enhance productivity in the workplace. No need to say enhanced employee collaboration results into improved productivity, which ultimately leads to customer service and satisfaction.
Here is how the new apps help businesses to accomplish it all:
The new apps are based on Good Dynamics mobile application platform and leverage patent-pending Good Dynamics AppKinetics technology. Leveraging AppKinetics technology, the new apps allow for the secure exchange of information and data within and between applications on a single device, all the while keeping enterprise data – at rest and in transit – safe and secure.
This app-to-app interoperability is the essence of AppKinetics technology that facilitates the creation of end-to-end workflows amongst a broader ecosystem of popular, business productivity applications.
The applications that have joined the Good Dynamics family include Picsel SmartOffice for Good Technology, Thomson Reuters (News - Alert) Pitchboard, Office² Pro for Good, DTE Axiom for iOS, MicroStrategy Mobile for Good and Autonomy WorkSite Mobility for Good.
All are currently available now in the Apple (News - Alert) Store.
“In today's BYO environment, employees not only want to bring their personal devices to work, but also the business applications they know and use in their personal lives. Enterprise workers just want to get their jobs done and when IT tries to 'restrict' access to certain apps, employees often find ways around those policies in order to utilize the apps they prefer," said vice president of Business Development and Alliances at Good Technology, Herve Danzelaud.
In other news, Good Technology named Christy Wyatt as the company’s new president and CEO.
