Patton, 3CX and FaxBack Join Forces

Patton, a major player in business and carrier-class network access, connectivity, VoIP and mobile video-surveillance equipment, has announced a three-way alliance with FaxBack and 3CX that delivers complete, fully-tested and certified-interoperable communications solutions for the new generation of IP-centric enterprise networks.

Officials with Patton (News - Alert) said that the alliance offers a set of joint solutions featuring the company’s SmartNode VoIP gateway routers and 3CX’s software-based IP-PBX interoperating with FaxBack’s NET (News - Alert) SatisFAXtion T.38 VoIP fax software or free Microsoft-certified fax-server plug-in for MS-Windows.

Company officials said that with such productivity-enhancing conveniences as print-to-fax, integration with MS-Outlook, and inbound fax delivery as email attachment, the three-party solutions offer quick and easy setup, allowing organizations to maximize their VoIP investment, reduce costs and increase fax workflow efficiency.

“FaxBack (News - Alert) clears a final hurdle for organizations adopting voice-over-IP: reliable fax,” said Mark Bradford, director of business development at FaxBack, in a statement.

Bradford said that the demand has been incredible in the enterprise market, especially small businesses.

“I noticed many customers downloading our software referenced Patton and 3CX,” he said.

Bradford said that going to market as a team provides a certified solution, so mutual customers can benefit from their investments sooner.

“We’re addressing the heartache of the people out there,” said Sean Gerrity, regional director for North America and Japan, Patton.

“As a team we bring total solutions with proven interoperability to the marketplace. Stability is key,” said Gerrity.

He said that SmartNode customers say once they set it up, it just keeps working. They never have to touch it again.

Gerrity said that the company chose FaxBack and 3CX as partners because their products offer similar levels of high reliability.

“Patton delivers high-quality T.38 support,” Bradford explained.

Bradford said that lots of gateways talk about the standard, but not everyone does it well or offers easy configuration. Patton is one of few companies that truly understand it, offering quality T.38 support for termination and origination.

“We're excited about this certification because, like FaxBack, Patton and 3CX offer tremendous value. We’re not the highest-cost offerings on the market. Our solutions are right-priced with powerful features and easy to implement,” he said.
