Mainstream Announces 35Mbps Ethernet First Mile Service

Mainstream Digital, one of the U.K.'s premier Business Internet Service Providers, synonymous with communications and IP for the last two decades, has recently launched an up to 35 Mbps Ethernet First Mile service as an access technology for dedicated Internet access.
Officials said that the Ethernet First Mile service is delivered over Mainstream’s advanced Next Generation network. It is the latest addition to the company’s growing dedicated Internet access portfolio.
In a release, Ian Medlock, Mainstreams’ managing director adds: “We have increased the bandwidth capacity on copper access giving customers up to 35Mbps, whilst still offering the flexibility of up to 8 copper bonded pairs.”
As of today, corporate and SME customers can buy EFM services with access circuit speeds of up to 35 Mbps. The company, for a limited period is also offering free installation on all 3 and 5 year EFM contracts.
