KUSA, a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), recently announced the release of its new KY-3182EM Managed Industrial Ethernet Traffic Switch.
A high-security low cost traffic switch, it is designed for improved network connectivity of Toll Control and Traffic Signal cabinets. The new switch is designed, engineered and manufactured in the United States, and comes as an addition to the company’s product line of Intelligent Traffic Switch of Managed Ethernet switches made in Kansas City, Missouri.
The key features of the new Industrial Ethernet traffic switch from KUSA include:
- 10 ports with minimum power consumption
- High security and management
- GUI interface
- Cyber Locks
- Comprehensive range of power supply of 9-39 VDC
- Temperature hardened
- Input file or Rack Mounted
The KY-3182EM switch is powered with Clean Code Technology, and can be interoperated across all Cyber-Secure video products. With a very low power consumption rate, this Managed Industrial Ethernet Switch is ideal for High Capacity Networking and camera and surveillance applications. It is strategically built in fiber diagnostics and silicon-based Distributed Denial of Service and Denial of Service (DDOS/DOS), which makes it the most powerful and secure in its class. Additionally, it comes with standard 8 X 10/100(T) X RJ45 ports & 2 X 100/1000Base(X) SFP Slots.
This new Managed Industrial Ethernet Traffic Switch combines low power consumption features with easy to configure GUI to deliver additional customer value. The standard fare for this switch is secure, high resolution video transmissions, with no configurations. It is also ideal for HD cameras, which require a high network throughput.
KUSA is offering the KY-3182EM at what the company says is a low introductory price for government and municipal agencies, and security contractors. It is also available with registered KUSA traffic partners.
KUSA through its distributors sells an extensive line of Industrial Ethernet products for security, IR cameras, surveillance, traffic and industrial automation, and sensors. It is proud of the fact that the company supports American Veterans and Veteran Owned Small Businesses and “Made in USA” products.
It should be noted that the “Made in the USA” designation is shared by Patton, who offers over 300 items that include VoIP gateways and routers along with Ethernet extenders.
