Managing today’s fragmented network landscape is a big task. Global Capacity (News - Alert) is a company that enables customers to extend the reach of their network footprint via its platform - One Marketplace. Also, its LATTIS platform provides access to a comprehensive database of published local area tariff rates for multiple carriers and geographies. LATTIS database maintains over 325 tariffs that are updated regularly to offer users the ability to quickly and effectively obtain accurate pricing for access network solutions.
Recently, the company announced added capabilities to its LATTIS platform.
“The U.S. wholesale Ethernet services market is growing rapidly, with researchers at Infonetics (News - Alert) projecting Ethernet revenue to total $56 billion by 2017,” Jack Lodge, president of Global Capacity said in a statement.
“By fortifying the LATTIS database with additional Ethernet tariffs and delivering a more functional user interface, our customers benefit from more accurate, transparent pricing of Ethernet network solutions as the demand for business Ethernet delivery continues to grow exponentially,” Lodge added.
The industry standard tariff pricing database streamlines the ability to deliver accurate tariff quotes to customers in a quick and cost-effective way, reducing the time, effort and cost of identifying and sourcing access network solutions. LATTIS provides a boost in efficiency for back-office operations of carriers, integrators and service providers around the world.
The newly enhanced LATTIS comes with new Ethernet tariff rates for E-LINE and E-LAN from ILECs and operators, including ATT, Verizon, CenturyLink, FairPoint Communications, Cincinnati Bell (News - Alert) and Windstream. Apart from this, the software now includes an improved user interface for E-LAN / E-LINE pricing functionality.
With more than 4,500 end-users, LATTIS subscriptions are licensed on a per-user basis and rates are updated monthly. New Ethernet rates are made available to all active users as part of annual subscription. Also, the company confirmed its attendance at the COMPTEL (News - Alert) PLUS Spring 2014 Convention & Expo where it will be offering new customers, who subscribe to LATTIS at the conference, a 12-month promotional, multi-user U.S. national tariff pricing license.
“Global Capacity will continue to make significant enhancements across LATTIS as well as our entire product and service portfolio throughout 2014 to meet the evolving demands of the growing Ethernet market,” Lodge adds.
