Patton Teams with Computerware to Provide Networking Equipment to Federal Government

Carrier-class network access, connectivity and VoIP products provider Patton-Inalp Networks AG is extending its reach further into the federal government space, teaming with Computerware sell its products to the agencies and the U.S. Military under the General Services Administration, GSA (News - Alert), schedule.

Opening up its line of networking equipment and IT solutions to such a wide range of agencies is expected to move business operations forward while serving security needs of the nation.
Patton-Inalp Networks AG is the creator of SmartNode VoIP technology and provides extensive services in the Ethernet Extenders space. The Maryland-based company, a player in the business-class network access, connectivity, and VoIP equipment. The company says it has continued to increase transparency and is moving the ISDN market in an increasingly important direction.
"Patton (News - Alert) is intensifying our focus on the government space," said Bobby Patton, president and CEO of Patton Electronics. "We are especially excited to serve the security needs of military and federal institutions with mobile video surveillance and intelligence solutions."

According to Chip Evans, president of Computerware, the collaboration makes it easy and cost-effective for U.S. military and federal government agencies to procure Patton's network equipment and IT solutions using the convenient online tool GSAAdvantage.
“The equipment is highly reliable and locally manufactured, so our collaboration should provide a welcome stimulus to the D.C. metropolitan economy," said Evans.
Both companies businesses are headquarter the D.C. metropolitan area.
Patton's Visuality product line is a recent addition to the company's extensive product portfolio. The mobile video surveillance solutions provide such services as VIP protection, real-time situational awareness and intelligence gathering--mission-critical functions for many federal agencies.

Patton's product catalog features over 1,000 network access and connectivity solutions, including CopperLink Ethernet Extenders, IPLink WAN access routers, and EtherBITSdevice servers, plus interface converters, short-range modems, multiplexers, surge protectors and many others.
Earlier this year, for the fourth time in as many years, Patton Electronics received Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC (News - Alert)) top honor with a Product of the Year Award for its VoIP Gateway product.
The SmartNode 4961 features a high-precision clock that solves interoperability failures that often occur with DECT PBX (News - Alert) and FAX equipment when converting ISDN systems to IP telephony.
