MDSL (News - Alert) Smart TEM, the latest version of MDSL’s telecom expense report software, will be unveiled at the upcoming AOTMP TEM Conference, a not-to-miss event that will be taking place in Orlando, FL. from February 13-16.
The new expense report software incorporates features designed to meet the growing needs from telecom expense management (TEM) customers. A recent AOTMP survey has found that half of all enterprises cite improving telecom service and asset visibility as their top international TEM objective, while 41 percent of respondents revealed reducing international telecom cost is their main priority.
Smart TEM transforms the way TEM is implemented within the enterprise, according to company officials. The solution makes it easier to access information, allowing for it to be tightly integrated and conformant with the customer’s existing internal IT systems and practices.
“This marks a major step forward for the telecom expense management industry,” said Philippe Lignac, MDSL TEM sales director, in a statement. “We've spent a number of months working with our customers to understand what they see as the shortcomings of current solutions on the market, and MDSLSmart TEM is designed both to address those issues and to meet their needs now and into the future. We believe the new solution is nothing short of game-changing for the TEM industry.”
The MDSL Smart TEM telecom expense report software is built on 6 core principles of TEM. These principles focus on making expense management easier and powerful.
The vital principles include: making it easier to find the right information the first time; saving time by automating repetitive tasks; streamlining the working day by matching the user interface to the individual's role; allowing the system to analyze, spend and automatically alert the user to any exceptions; improving decision-making with powerful, easy and reliable reporting; and empowering the user to make their own reporting and change requests.
In addition, the expense report software can be seamlessly integrated with Mobile Device Management (MDM) capabilities, assisting users in easily and securely managing their wireless devices from within a single application and TEM database.
Following the launch of the expense report software at the annual AOTMP TEM Conference, the company will head out to its road show which will visit the cities of New York, Houston and Chicago. Some of the highlights of the roadshow include an update by AOTMP on the key challenges and pitfalls facing the TEM industry, a demonstration of the new capabilities of MDSL Smart TEM and an interactive Q&A panel of existing MDSL customers.
