By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) and FaxCore (News - Alert), Inc. have announced the validation of the FaxCore Connector for Sharp OSA enabled MFPs.

FaxCore is a leading provider of fax server automation solutions for enterprise organizations. With its Web-based interface, the company’s flagship and award-winning FaxCore 4370 provides a centralized system to automate fax communications and easily fax-enable business processes and other third-party applications.

Additionally, FaxCore’s powerful document server provides a way to significantly improve data and process workflow, offering powerful archiving and routing capabilities. FaxCore is a strategic partner of Dialogic (News - Alert), the industry standard in intelligent fax hardware.

Thanks to this validation organizations would now be able to fax from their Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs for less, dramatically shortening ROI time frame due to the efficiency gains from the FaxCore fax server.

Moreover, users would also be able to send and receive faxes from their PCs as well as fax paper documents from any network connected Sharp MFP through the FaxCore server.

The FaxCore fax server offers 21st century architecture based on the Microsoft .NET (News - Alert) platform.  Organizations that implement FaxCore servers with Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs achieve a pure IP based fax solution.

“Sharp OSA technology helps businesses tailor the MFP to their business needs and maximize their investment,” Tom Davis, Vice President said in a press release.

“Faxcore has leveraged the power of Sharp OSA technology to unlock additional value for customers, allowing them to get even more from their technology investment.”

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, markets the advanced, color MX Series multifunctional peripheral (MFP) systems and a full product suite of workgroup and production MFPs that help companies manage workflow efficiently and increase productivity.

Sharp Electronics Corporation is the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation, a worldwide developer of one-of-a-kind home entertainment products, appliances, networked multifunctional office solutions, solar energy solutions and mobile communication and information tools.
