Senior Vice President of FaxCore (News - Alert), Max Schroeder, is the latest panelist announced for the ITEXPO Ingate Sip Trunking Summit Fax-over-IP (FoIP) session at ITEXPO Austin 2012 in Austin, Texas.
ITEXPO, which is held from October 2 through October 5 at the Austin Convention Center, was created to help keep companies updated on the latest in communication technology. “ITEXPO (News - Alert) brings together the entire communications and technology community for a week of business-building and researching today’s most powerful communications solutions,” said TMCnet.
“Enterprise, government and SMB end users, resellers, service providers, manufacturers, developers, media and analyst gather to examine solutions in conference sessions, demo products and services live on the expo floor, and forge beneficial relationships.”
FaxCore created a server application, built on Microsoft .NET (News - Alert) Framework 4.0 to allow for users to send faxes over the Internet no matter the size of the network. The software allows for applications to be integrated suich as Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, and SharePoint so users can fax directly through those programs without having to download or install additional add-ons.
According to a statement from FaxCore, the company realizes the importance of unified communications and wanted to make sure it was present during this year’s Expo. It’s senior vice president Max Schroeder (News - Alert) will “present an update on the joint SIP forum and i3 Forum testing program of FoIP in international interconnect using existing routing technology where significant progress has been made,” at a panel on October 4, in room #9C beginning at 3 p.m.
FaxCore added that its server leverages “web and Internet based technology to deliver cost effective and simple implementations. The rich functionalist normally associated with a Fat Client is available to both Users and Administrators through a browser UI.”
So, in addition to discussing an update, Schroeder will also “address the robust benefits of implementing the FoIP T.38 protocol within an enterprise network environment. The integration of FoIP with legacy technologies including PBX (News - Alert) integration and connecting to the PSTN will [also] be key discussion points.”
