FaxCore Offers Real World Savings Through Easy System Integration

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Even as economists promise the recovery is in full swing, corporations throughout the world are operating on budgets created in much tighter times and funded by lower revenues. Compounding the problem is the overabundance of unused technological components within the enterprise that are designed to streamline business operations.

Many an executive is unaware of the fact that existing technologies often offer components that can streamline overall operations to drastically improve the bottom line. Very commonly overlooked areas include customer/client invoicing, monthly statements, order processing and forms processing such as insurance or loan documents.

According to Max Schroeder (News - Alert), senior vice president at FaxCore, such areas can be streamlined very simply with the implementation of a True 21st Century Fax Server. When these operations are fully automated, it can reduce employee time. In some cases such as approach can generate an immediate return on investment in real dollars.

Promises of increased efficiency and improved productivity are not hallow assumptions, but rather proven savings demonstrated in a number of real world examples. Consider the cost of a United States Postal Service mailing of 10,000 monthly statements. With a manual system this could easily cost the company $10,000.

"An automated fax process would probably cost less than $500 in actual billable phone minutes," said Schroeder.

How is such a drastic difference possible? Any document sent by way of fax technology is a fully legal document. The FaxCore (News - Alert) server retains records of all transactions, including information such as date, time and successful receipt of the document. As a result, the process is much more efficient and secure.

The savings demonstrated above is possible when the integration of the accounting and fax server applications is a simple and inexpensive process. With FaxCore customers gain the ability to easily integrate with other applications, including a simple print-to-fax feature.

Additional process and workflow integrations could require other standard FaxCore features included in the FaxCore Server Application License, such as:

Integration with Exchange (2003, 2007)

Web Service/SOA SDK

SharePoint Server 2007 Native Integration

Active Directory

FaxCore is built on Microsoft (News - Alert).net framework for easy development

"Whether you are looking for a fax server solution for the first time or your current product is not a True 21st Century Product you owe it to yourself to contact FaxCore today," said Schroeder.
