DPD International has unveiled new network fax enterprise software, GoldFax 8.0, featuring improved functionality, greater support for MFP integration, archiving options with GoldFax Insight and new GoldFax Cloud offerings.
Bill Vanek, director of Sales for GoldFax said, “We are excited to release GoldFax 8.0 which includes a wide range of offerings and performance enhancements. Business needs for cost reduction, security, compliancy, and disaster recovery have intensified forcing organizations to review and update their processes and infrastructure related to fax document delivery.”
An enterprise level fax server solution, GoldFax helps users to securely deliver fax documents from any desktop, e-mail, mobile device or MFP. The new GoldFax 8.0 version features optimum flexibility and meets corporate and regulatory compliance.
DPD is striving to further enhance the integrated solutions with MFP providers, said officials.
GoldFax 8.0 features New GoldFax Cloud, which facilitates the sending and receiving of faxes via GoldFax Cloud Fax Telephone Service. The new SIP Trunk Provider Support allows faxing via “virtual lines” with an Internet connection using SIP trunk providers like babyTEL.
The GoldFax Cloud offering enables the rapid delivery of GoldFax and eliminates the need for integrating with a customer’s telephone system. Access to cloud-based services is provided without compromising the security of confidential documents.
In addition, the new version features FoIP (Fax over IP) support with XCAPI; disaster recovery capability using GoldFax Cloud or SIP trunk providers; and GoldFax Insight Option, which allows archiving, searching, retrieving and reporting on all faxes.
The GoldFax 8.0 will provide improved GoldFax Connectors for Kyocera HyPAS, Samsung (News - Alert) XOA and Sharp OSA v4 MFPs with a customizable GoldFax interface and Single Sign-On (SSO) support. It can also integrate with Canon, Lexmark, Muratec, Toshiba (News - Alert) and XEROX MFPs.
