Océ Business Services, a major player in document process management services and technology, has recently released its Océ PrintExpress online print and distribution service.
Various leading healthcare and financial services companies, requiring high-quality professional print and finishing service along with next-day or on-demand delivery, have deployed the new offering.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Océ PrintExpress requires no software other than a Web browser. It gives companies the ability to monitor and control activity with cost and usage reports, which can be detailed according to such categories as user, job or billing codes.
Officials said that the Océ PrintExpress is available in two offerings. The On Demand Print offering enables companies with a deadline to submit print jobs up to 10 p.m. for next day delivery. When deadline is not an issue, Océ PrintExpress provides high-quality print and distribution on demand.
The Publishing Market Place offering enables companies to create an online storefront through which their customers or employees can order print materials when needed. It can be implemented as a cost or profit center, billing either the company's or the customer's account.
Ideally suited to mid-size and large organizations, the Océ PrintExpress also includes account setup, billing, administration and 24/7 help-desk support.
Océ Business Services provides high quality managed services and technology to manage, monitor and optimize document intensive processes so companies can improve operating efficiency and performance. Its solutions span the document lifecycle and include records management, imaging, managed print services, mail and eDiscovery.
In related news, Océ Business Services announced it will be on hand at the Hildebrandt Institute's 10th Annual COO & CFO Forum to highlight best practices, strategies and case history examples that can help law firms meet their top business goals over the next year.
