Document output management specialist Quadrant Software has launched its first annual Customer Trade-Up Program to help reduce customers' carbon footprint.
The Customer Trade-Up program will run through June 15, 2012 facilitating all existing Quadrant FastFax customers to migrate from their existing hardware/software combination to its new QuadraDocV, virtual fax over IP (FoIP) solution.
Quadrant Software is offering all the customers participating in the Customer Trade-Up program a credit when upgrading to QuadraDocV.
A double trade-in discount is also offered when upgrading existing FastFax hardware. All returned hard drives will be recycled as appropriate and Quadrant Software intends to plant a tree in a local park or recreational area for each upgrade.
Powered by FastFax, QuadraDocV simplifies infrastructure for organizations and helps them to minimize their overall carbon footprint. The solution runs on the industry standard VMware platform, and incorporates the SR140 software technology from Dialogic (News - Alert), to integrate with customers' current telephony systems.
QuadraDocV eliminates the need for a physical fax card, and is easily deployed in the VMware environment.
"There are many inherent benefits to moving to a virtual infrastructure," said Steve Woodard, CEO, Quadrant Software. "With the release of QuadraDocV we've enabled our customers to reduce their carbon footprint even further by removing yet another 'box' from their datacenter. The Customer Trade-Up program is our way of encouraging our customers to take advantage of the many benefits of virtualization, including cost and power savings and better server utilization. In return, the environment benefits both from decreased consumption and our commitment to a greener planet."
Quadrant Software is a provider of Document Output Management (DOM) software and solutions for the enterprise. The company launched QuadraDocV on April 17, 2012.
