Netcelerate, an Ottawa-based VoIP business phone system and internet service provider, has launched its Fax2Email service, strengthening its existing portfolio of business communications services.
The new service offers customers the ability to send and receive faxes via e-mail.
Officials with Netcelerate said Fax2Email eliminates the need for a fax machine in the office and allows customers to send and receive faxes over e-mail while maintaining its business fax number.
"Fax2Email is a natural progression of Netcelerate's service offering. We are pleased to be able to meet market demand for a reliable fax service," said Jack Hunt, chief executive officer at Netcelerate. "Our goal is to provide a complete office suite of communications solutions and Fax2Email fits nicely with our current portfolio of services."
Company officials said Fax2Email is available as a monthly service; it includes 200 sent pages and 300 received pages per month and can be accessed by multiple people within an organization.
Fax2Email Lite is also available for customers with fewer usage requirements.
With no fax machine in the office, a business can reduce operational costs though less ink and paper.
Moreover, as retrieving and sending faxes is not limited to the office, it can take place anywhere e-mail can be accessed.
Netcelerate recently announced the release of their new line of DSL internet, which offers significantly higher down-stream speeds to business customers.
The company's new DSL services, called Silver, Silver Turbo, Platinum and Platinum Turbo, provide a range of download speeds of 4Mb/s, 6Mb/s, 10Mb/s and 16Mb/s.
This new Internet offer provides customers with a significant range of DSL options compared to the standard 6Mb/s and 8Mb/s DSL offerings presently on the market.
