Recently, iTeleCenter revealed that it has witnessed an uptick in the amount of people leveraging its streamlined paperless Send Fax Online offering.
A major factor driving the increased use of this fax-based solution is because it eliminates the need for a company to own a physical fax machine as well as allows small businesses to cut costs associated with traditional faxing such as electricity, ink or toner, paper, and long distance dialing charges.
The company has just revamped its back office processes. The updated user interface makes every step easier and more intuitive for subscribers. Any locally-stored documents can be easily sent to any physical fax machine or another iTeleCenter subscriber’s number.
The user simply logs into their online back office, clicks on FaxOut to send the fax online, enters the recipient’s fax phone number, selects the document and clicks send. The fax provider then automatically converts the document to the proper file format whether it is a Word document, PDF, TIF or CSV file, Excel spreadsheet, or a simple text file and sends it as if it was coming from a physical fax machine.
This robust solution is also touted as keeping sent faxes organized. As an added benefit, iTeleCenter stores all sent faxes in a folder where the subscriber can easily see the date and time the fax was sent and the number it was sent to. The document can be viewed, resent or forwarded to another recipient right from that page as well.
Further, paperless faxes can be received by the system and it also replaces the need for a fax machine for incoming faxes as well. Since there is never a busy signal, faxes can be received 24/7 and notifications can be set up to alert the subscriber once a fax has been received.
