A new research brief released today by Aberdeen Group defines the value of “Integrated Communications,” which Aberdeen defines as the integration of a comprehensive communications strategy with the wide variety of technologies that make employees more productive and responsive.
The Aberdeen (News - Alert) Group, a Harte-Hanks Company, published numerous reports ranging from: Enterprise Applications, Collaboration and Integrated Communications, Product Innovation, Financial Management/Governance, Risk and Compliance, and IT Infrastructure research practices.
In each of its recent communications and collaborations studies, top performing companies were more likely to have integrated enterprise communications with other enterprise applications and with the most current approaches to technology delivery-including cloud computer, virtualization, and mobility.
Nick Castelina, senior research associate for the Aberdeen Group, completed a report on the SaaS (News - Alert) and Cloud ERP Trends, Observations, and Performance 2011. Castelina’s report examined the trend of more organizations considering SaaS for their ERP. Castelina determined in his report, “These organizations are turning to SaaS for the cost saving and collaboration improvements that it provides,” reported Castelina.
In conjunction with that report, Hyoun Park (News - Alert), research analyst for the Aberdeen Group, completed the study on “Integrated Communications.” Park said if companies use these tools they would be able to increase their productivity and effectiveness. “By integrating these technologies through the lens of SoMOClo (Social, Mobile, and Cloud as a single technology platform), top performing organizations created communications environments to contact new prospects and fellow employees, and alleviate departmental confusion more quickly,” reported Park.
Park’s report highlights the capability offered by Esnatech, a leader in cloud-enabled communications solutions. Esnatch enables your businesses to deliver greater productivity and anywhere access by integrating voice, mobility, and presence with Cloud and Google (News - Alert) Apps.
“As this shift occurs, companies seeking to optimize productivity and reduce the total cost of ownership associated with their communications environment are focused on integrating both mobility and cloud-based infrastructure. By doing so, they are better position to align technological functionality with business processes,” said Park.
Mohammad Nezarati, Esnatech CEO, agreed with Park telling SFGate, “To foster innovation, organizations must untether their live communications and enable people to work from anywhere, on any mobility device and through the channels that best fits their needs… We help our customers to leverage their current telecommunication investments and make big gains in productivity,” said Nezarati.
Various products are available for companies to help them maintain their productivity such as; Salesforce, DropBox, and FactorFox. All three of these tools help companies maintain their productivity, keep track of customers, and transfer documents through online systems – allowing employees to work from virtually anywhere.
