FonAngle has introduced a service called MeshLINQ, which will provide customers twin benefits of optimized bandwidth capacity and reliability, in light of increased migrations to cloud-based applications.
The latest offering from FonAngle has been developed as a link-aggregation technology, which can effectively integrate an internet connection from any service provider.
“More and more businesses are moving to cloud based applications that require lots of high quality and reliable bandwidth,” said FonAngle CTO Chris Meyers. "The demand is there, but most companies have found it too expensive to have both reliability and high-volume bandwidth. With MeshLINQ, any business can now have both and more."
The high-quality service level provided by MeshLINQ will now ensure that customers benefit from full bi-directional QoS over and above just aggregation and reliability. The advanced QoS engine monitors network traffic to ensure a reduction in disturbances for applications such as VoIP and Cloud Apps, which work best on a well-tuned network.
With MeshLINQ's ultra-stable redundancy capabilities, customers can continue to stay online while generating revenue as MeshLINQ has been built to combine Multi-Link-Connection-Routing (MLCR), an advanced engine which monitors connections and manages traffic routing to ensure lesser interruptions.
"We've started to roll out MeshLINQ to some of our most valued partners and customers, and the feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive,” added Meyers. “Customers and partners have thanked us for eliminating poor-quality VoIP calls, improving cloud application response times and eradicating any downtime issues. And on top of that they've vastly improved their security.”
Another key benefit of the MeshLINQ service is security. A MeshLINQ solution using 3 network carriers, for example, is far more difficult to breach as the solution’s proprietary marking engine has been based on multi-language networks, which makes it far more difficult to decrypt important data.
“MeshLINQ is a homerun for any business that has a dedicated internet connection like T1, T3 or Fiber,” Meyers concluded. “It's also a no brainer for businesses that have or need MPLS. MeshLINQ improves upon the QoS features of an MPLS, provides 10 X the bandwidth and greatly enhances reliability.”
