With the help of hosted billing provider Cycle30, General Communication, Inc. (GCI) will offer the iPhone (News - Alert) 4S to customers in Alaska beginning Friday, April 20.
The iPhone 4S will be available in Alaska starting at $150 for the 16GB model, $250 for the 32GB model and $350 for the 64GB model with a new two-year contract and data plan. In addition, GCI (News
- Alert) will offer iPhone 4 for $50 and iPhone 3GS for free with a new two-year contract and data plan. Cycle30 will be doing all the hosted billing work for GCI's subscribers on the iPhone.
"We have invested over $2 billion to bring the latest communication technology to Alaska. From Ketchikan to Kotzebue and everywhere in between, our customers can now use iPhone on the largest and fastest network in the state,” said GCI president and CEO Ron Duncan.

GCI's personalized wireless plans allow customers to choose the right plan for their unique needs. GCI provides value and GCI customers with an iPhone will receive free text and picture messaging when they choose a 3,000 MB or higher data plan.
