Horne International has partnered with Evolve to establish Hornet. The new entity will offer Hosted HD Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Managed Networking Services to Government and other large multi-line businesses and organizations.
Customers can leverage Hornet's HD VoIP offering to make a seamless and effortless transition to Unified Communications Services over their existing infrastructure.
Hornet’s one stop, turn-key, HD VoIP offering significantly reduces the upfront expense of making the change when compared to legacy carriers.
Horne International provides engineering services for a sustainable infrastructure, with an emphasis on security, energy, and the environment.
“Horne International is pleased to add such a high value added technology to our suite of efficiency offerings. The creation of the Hornet brand to address the simply staggering market size of telecom upgrades to VoIP by the government and all large multi-line users makes for a very exciting relationship between Horne and Evolve IP (News - Alert),” said Evan Auld-Susott, CEO of Horne International, Inc.
Evolve IP is a cloud-based technology provider that offers businesses a better way to buy and manage their applications, infrastructure, and security solutions.
“Horne's proven expertise in the government marketplace further penetrates this market for Evolve IP and we agree that our proven Cloud-based Technologies can provide critical advantages and enhancements to both government and commercial users,” said Guy Fardone, COO and GM at Evolve IP.
Both companies note that government customers will be able to utilize Horne Engineering Services, LLC's GSA (News - Alert) IT 70 Schedule to receive Hornet solutions when the VoIP pricing plan is approved by the GSA.
Evolve IP was in the news last year when it recruited Joe Corvaia, Rich Fox, Bill Maun, Ritzcel Exconde and Greg Drake to support its rapid growth in the areas of cloud computing services and virtual call centers.
